Frequently Asked Questions
Can we move the trailer?
The refrigeration trailer must not be moved by the hirer. All trailers are fitted with anti-theft devices at the time of delivery. Any loss or damage to these items will be charged for.
Is the refrigerated trailer lockable?
Yes, the back doors are lockable (key provided).
What is the Freezer temperature?
The freezer trailer is set to between 0 and minus 20 degrees which is reached within a couple of hours depending on conditions.
Do I have to be present for collection?
Ideally Yes, unless previously arranged otherwise.
Must I clean the trailer after use?
All our trailers are cleaned between rentals. If the trailer requires extra cleaning after use a cleaning charge will be added to the cost of hire.
Do I need to be present for delivery?
Ideally Yes, unless previously arranged otherwise.
How long is the power cable?
There are several options for power cables. 15, 20 or 30 metres. Longer cables are available on request.
Can I extend my chilled trailer hire?
This will depend on future bookings of the trailer you have. Give us a call on 07392 438 700 and we may be able to extend your booking.
Do our trailers have shelving?
Yes all trailers have shelving which can be added or removed on request.
What is the Fridge temperature?
For our refrigerated trailers are set between 0 to 10 degrees, which is reached in approximately 30 minutes depending on a number of factors.
How do I power the trailer?
Our refrigeration trailers run off a 3 pin 13 amp supply or 16amp commando socket.
Is the trailer secure?
Yes. The trailer had lockable back doors and if fitted with a locking tow hitch and wheel clamp when delivered.
